The material properties are decisive for the wide range of possible applications of the various metals. Therefore, in addition to mechanical analyses, the microstructure of these components is also evaluated in order to ensure the quality of the metallic semi-finished products or components.
MiViA's business concept addresses this existing need and offers an excellent solution by marketing a database for metallographic micrographs in combination with an autonomous microstructure analysis system for metallic materials.
Due to its reproducibility and test stability, the system can also be integrated into customers' Industry 4.0 concepts and thus used in the digital control and monitoring of production, which leads to further cost and quality advantages compared to manual microstructure analysis or subjective analysis programmes.
Case studies will be used to illustrate the application of AI-based microstructure analysis.
